Anyone still using EMS testing?

Do people still use EMS testing either for CE or to prep new hires, I'm really curious because I came across something recently that reminded me, our agency phased it out a while back and then I thought it was a general thing but I've been hearing it's gotten some updates recently and might be worth bringing back into rotation for onboarding or refreshers especially
When I used it, I liked the depth of questions, but I agree some of the rationales felt copy and paste or outdated, but I think it was a pretty good metric in its own way

If you're currently using it, how do you feel about it, and do you think it's still relevant with all the newer options out there like Fisdap

Well some yeah, people still use EMS testing for CE or onboarding, though its not as common as it used to be. It's had some updates, and a few agencies are bringing it back for refreshers because the question depth is pretty solid. With that said, many are leaning toward newer platforms like Fisdap for better tracking and updated contentt. If your team liked EMS testing before, it could still be a useful tool, just depends on how up-to-date the content is and what youre trying to measure

With how fast things change, some parts did feel outdated but I'm a bit unsure if it still fits well with today's training tools

A lot of those EMS testing platforms, including Fisdap, are just overcomplicating what should be hands-on, scenario-based learning. We're training medics, not quiz bowl champions.

Real-world decision-making matters way more than multiple-choice metrics ever will
