So I had a call with a medic, the patient had chest pain, HR was 80, regular R-R, slight artifact (old Lifepak 10 still warming up). Medic insisted it was afib RVR, she claimed any A-fib over 60 bpm is RVR because it's a ventricular rhythm. That doesn't sound right, isn't afib RVR usually over 100 bpm? Did I miss something in cardiology?
