I'm a relatively new EMT and I'm really trying to refine my physical assessment skills, especially during those fast-paced trauma calls. I've been practicing with DCAP BTLS and it helps me systematically scan the body. However, I'm wondering if this is comprehensive or if there are like blind spots pr frequently missed injuries I should be aware of? Maybe someone here can share from experience.. How do you train your eyes and hands to pick up on the less obvious signs? I might be sending more questions later on but I want to start with these for now..
