I'm a part-time paramedic in Tupelo and we've been on ImageTrend Elite for 3 years under the state contract, but our QA officer is pushing to evaluate ESO for next year's budget cycle. We've had a few close calls where GPS timestamps didn't align with dispatch records, and it caused issues during a state audit. One of my coworkers in Corinth mentioned that their station had a similar issue and ultimately resorted to manual corrections on every PCR. Is this a known issue with how ImageTrend pulls location data? Additionally, how does the system handle multi-unit incident reporting when multiple squads are on the scene?

Absolutely, there are some well-known GPS sync issues with ImageTrend. These are usually related to the device settings or delays in data retrieval. When it comes to multi-unit reporting, it can be a bit cumbersome, ESO does a much better job with that

Thanks for confirming. Our QA officer also noticed the GPS mismatch during a narcotics audit, which lines up with what you said about data delays. Since we use tablets with cellular sync, I'm wondering if the problem is with the hardware instead of the platform. When two squads respond, we have to link PCRs by hand, and it gets confusing if the timestamps don't match. Did your team try changing device settings or workflows to fix the GPS issue, or did you have to switch platforms? We're looking at ESO next quarter, so I'll share this before the budget meeting.
